Project 802 operates primarily in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the centre of an ecosystem of strategic partners. This "Virtual Corporation" concept offers world-class solutions over a wide range of business and technology services. We deliver the agility and flexibility of a small business with the security, governance and methodologies you would expect from a large company.

Project 802 and its business partners bring decades of practical experience to bear in all engagements. Our partnerships are formed on the strength of sound, long-standing, individual relationships and are based on track record and reliability.

We're a small company with big ideas. Although we only started trading in our current form in July 2009, it is the culmination of years of planning and strategy.

Since the company’s inception, Project 802 has set out to build on its early transformation initiatives to eventually mature to a Level 1. In October 2010 we exceeded even our own expectations by jumping from Level 3 straight to Level 1.

Project 802 was independently verified by Emex Trust, a SANAS Accredited BEE Verification Agency, in terms of the Codes of Good Practice and the DTI Methodology. The results were somewhat surprising even to us.

Project 802 has always had a strong transformation focus. The company is our vehicle to make our contribution to helping South Africa be a better place, especially for communities in need. Going forward we will continue to build on our Socio-economic development and enterprise development initiatives.

Our target market is mid-to-large corporate IT management.

We bring our wealth of experience into environments where IT professionals have little time to tend to activities that may be non-core to them, but essential to their larger organisation. We take those problems away and allow our clients to focus on what matters to them most, the operational availability of their systems and the strategic direction of their IT operation.
