1ServiceDesk

1ServiceDesk is a hosted service developed and supported in South Africa. The system is highly configurable and provides customers with basic incident logging and tracking capabilities.

1ServiceDesk is developed on standard database platforms (MySQL or Microsoft SQL) which makes it easy to integrate into existing systems. The system has built in SMS and email alerting capabilities to facilitate the routing and despatching of incident calls.

RSA SecurID

RSA SecurID is a mechanism developed by RSA Security for performing two-factor authentication for a user to a network resource. RSA, The Security Division of EMC, is the premier provider of security solutions for business acceleration. As the chosen security partner of more than 90% of the Fortune 500, RSA helps the world’s leading organizations succeed by solving their most complex and sensitive security challenges.

Project 802 has selected RSA SecurID as a strategic product because of its continued leadership in the Information Systems security field. We have made a commitment to RSA to maintain a level of deep technical skills in the SecurID product set to assist with implementations in our region.

Citrix

Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS) is an American multinational corporation that provides server and desktop virtualization, networking, software-as-a-service (SaaS) and cloud computing technologies for more than 230,000 organizations worldwide.

Citrix customers include the world’s largest Internet companies, 99 percent of Fortune Global 500 enterprises, and hundreds of thousands of small businesses and consumers worldwide. Citrix partners with over 10,000 companies worldwide in more than 100 countries. Founded in 1989, annual revenue in 2008 was $1.6 billion.

Project 802 is a Citrix Solution Advisor and brings Citrix’s XenServer, XenApp and XenDesktop products to the South African market offering implementation and support skills across these products.

Coraid

CORAID, Inc. is a storage vendor that provides Ethernet SAN solutions, headquartered in Redwood City, California. The company was founded by Brantley Coile, who previously invented the Cisco PIX firewall and Cisco LocalDirector products. Coile began the R&D phase of the company in 2000 after leaving Cisco, and developed the ATA-over-Ethernet (AoE) protocol, which enables storage networking using raw Ethernet frames for transport.

The Coraid Storage Area Network technology is revolutionary. The AoE protocol allows corporate companies to build SAN environments that are faster and cheaper than iSCSI and Fibrechannel.

Project 802 enjoys a direct reseller relationship with Coraid in the USA and has strong technical skills to support the Coraid product range.

Project 802 is a fulfilment partner of most of the top, brand-name technology such as 3Com, Acer, APC, Brother, Canon, Cisco, Epson, Fujitsu, HP, IBM, INTEL, Lenovo, Lexmark, LG, Microsoft, OKI, NVidia, Polycom, Rittal, Samsung, Seagate, Sennheiser, Siemens, SMC, SNOM, VXI, Verbatim and Western Digital.

Almost all Project 802 commodity products are sourced from local distributors but we’re really strong at finding products that are difficult to get locally. Give us a challenge!
